Designed from the ground up for high fidelity simulation, the Contour 600 TM introduces KXGA resolution providing 1920 x 1920 pixels for unsurpassed image fidelity. As with all Contour projectors the new Contour 600 TM is based upon the highly acclaimed Digital Light Processor (DLP) for the optimum in colour balance between projectors, and since DLP is a truly reflective technology with response times measured in micro seconds - some 1000 times faster than LCoS, smear effects are reduced to undetectable levels. The Contour 600 TM utilises an enhanced Dual Fast Iris system to provide high contrast night scene simulation and NVG compatibility. This iris system is designed to imperceptibly adjust according to scene content to provide very deep black levels during night-time simulation. Contrast ratios of 15000:1 can therefore be achieved making this projector ideally suited to contrast critical applications. Native resolution throughout the Contour 600 TM range is 1920 x 1920 (KXGA), with a large number of lens options available, including 0.8, 1.2, 1.3 - 1.7, 1.7 - 2.5, 2.5 - 4.0 and 4.0 - 7.0:1. Motion compatibility is assured throughout the simulated motion envelope by means of internal stabilisation, for accelerations up to 25m/s/s. The Contour 600 TM provides a purely digital connection interface utilising either copper or fibre-optic dual-link DVI. All aspects of the projector may be operated via a network connection for ease of operation and complete control. Built-in Equipe ProMap TM Edge-Blending and image Warping is provided as standard. This incorporates a sophisticated automatic calibration system that achieves perfect image matching between projectors.
